Shimoda Action X25 V3 Backpack - Black

Shimoda Action X25 V3 Backpack - Black

Shimoda's Action X adventure outdoor camera backpacks have been to the peak of Mount Everest and to the farthest reaches of the globe. They are built to comfortably carry camera gear not just all day long, but for days at a time. Shimoda's fully modular Core Unit system ensures that creators never carry more weight or bulk than necessary and that the bag interior can be quickly adapted to camera systems from small to large. The height adjustable harness and removable waist belt can be dialed in to fit users from 1.5m all the way to 2m tall (when used with optional Booster Kit). When paired with the optional Small Mirrorless Core Unit (sold separately), the Action X25 backpack will fit a non-gripped mirrorless or DSLR camera (approximately 13cm tall) with 3-5 lenses, up to an unattached 70-200mm F2.8 and the rear laptop sleeve will protect a laptop up to 14".

The X25 meets the absolute strictest international carry on regulations possible, and it will even usually fit under the seat of an airplane. This 25 litre backpack can expand to 32 litres when needed by extending the 7 litre rolltop. It will fit Core Units as small as the XS25 Core Unit for more compact camera kits, and it will fit up to the L25 RST Core Unit to maximize the entire interior space for camera gear and fit an attached 180-600/200-600mm lens. The X25 is also compatible with Shimoda's optional small, medium and large Top Loader camera bags for users who want an internal camera cube that can be carried separately from the backpack with a shoulder strap.

• PRIMARY FEATURES: Shimoda's Action X adventure outdoor camera backpacks have been to the peak of Mount Everest and to the farthest reaches of the globe. Shimoda's fully modular Core Unit system ensures that creators never carry more weight or bulk than necessary and that the bag interior can be quickly adapted to camera systems from small to large. The height adjustable harness and removable waist belt can be dialed in to fit users from 1.5m all the way to 2m tall.
• CAMERA/LAPTOP CAPACITY: When paired with the optional Small Mirrorless Core Unit (sold separately), the X25 will fit a non-gripped mirrorless or DSLR camera with 3-5 lenses, up to an unattached 70-200mm F2.8. The rear laptop sleeve will protect a laptop up to 14".
• ADJUSTABLE TORSO HEIGHT: The X25 has three height options with approximately 7cm of vertical adjustment. This means the same backpack can fit short or tall - male or female - torso heights, ensuring a custom fit for everyone. Those with taller or broader torsos can add our Booster Kit for greater range in torso fit. Female users can add the optional Women's Harness Straps for a more comfortable fit.
• CORE UNIT MODULAR CAMERA INSERT SYSTEM (Core Unit Not Included): The X25 utilizes Shimoda's Mirrorless 25 series Core Units, which are matched to the narrower width of the 25 litre packs (versus the wider 30-50 litre packs). The X25 will fit Core Units as small as the XS25 Core Unit for more compact camera kits, and it will fit up to the L25 RST Core Unit to maximize the entire interior space for camera gear and fit an attached 180-600/200-600mm lens.
• EXPANDABLE ROLLTOP ACCESS: Rolltop access allows the pack to be adjusted to your gear needs while still maintaining a tight and compact fit. The rolltop can expand with a volume range of 7 litres. The top section also has an additional quick access YKK SplashGuard zipper that makes getting at your gear extremely quick and easy, especially in foul weather.

*This is the X25 backpack shell, Helmet Holder and Rain Cover only. Core Unit sold separately. Check Starter Kits for complete Backpack/Core Unit options, or choose the Core Unit best suited for your camera system.
