The Gitzo GM4552L Series 4 Monopod is a 5 section, carbon fibre monopod. It is the tallest model in the range, designed to securely provide low footprint elevation and be lightweight, particularly effective when shooting over crowds and fences.

The GM4552L is a professional solution that leverages larger tube sizes (top leg diameter 37mm) and stiff Carbon eXact tubes to provide rock-solid stability even when extended to its maximum height of 190cm, keeping weight to an absolute minimum. It securely supports an impressive 30kg worth of equipment and weighs only 730grams. Gitzo’s G-Lock Ultra system makes the tubing even stronger by rigidly connecting the leg sections, protecting joints from moisture and dirt. The monopod features a handy, reversible 1/4" and 3/8" mounting thread for attaching various types of cameras, lenses and heads. It folds down to just 56cm and is easy to pack or strap to a backpack for day and overnight hikes.

The GM4552L base features an innovative 50mm rubber foot with a pivoting ball joint for smooth movement that is perfect for capturing moving subjects. It provides solid footing and maximum stability on any surface and can be removed when necessary and replaced with optional feet or metal spikes.

The monopod also features Gitzo's signature ergonomic textured hand grip and a removable wrist strap for increased security, allowing photographers to move freely with their monopod attached to their belt or clothing. The Series 4 GM4552L replaces the Series 3 GM3551.
