Gitzo Magnesium Quick Release Adapter D Profile, Series 3
The Gitzo Magnesium Quick Release Adapter D Profile will adapt select C profile Gitzo heads to accept the D profile Arca-type compatible plates. It has a load capacity of 15kg, and allows most Arca-type plates to snap into the head from above, rather than sliding the plate in from the side. The adapter uses three screws to attach to the stem of a head. You can remove the adapter and use C profile plates as well.
